Why a painted cyc rather than a cloth
The wall-to-floor junction on a cyclorama is a curve, not a corner. For chroma key, that removes the shadow trapped in the edge and the horizon line compositing would otherwise have to rebuild. An actor can walk, a vehicle can roll, and the backdrop never reveals a break.

Lighting a green screen cleanly
A failed key is almost always a lighting problem, not a software one: uneven backdrop, spill on hair, subject too close to the wall. The 6.50 m ceiling and twin motorised grid make it possible to separate subject from background properly and light each one independently.

Pre-light the day before
On a chroma key shoot, setting the backdrop often eats the first hour of the day. Subject to stage availability, the DP or gaffer can come in the evening before to set the lighting: on the day, the crew shoots from the first hour. Quoted separately.

What people ask us
Is the green screen permanent or painted on request?
It is painted on request. The cyclorama is kept white by default and switched to green or blue for productions that need it. Mention it on the quote so the stage is ready and dry on the shoot day.
Can a moving vehicle be keyed?
Yes. Drive-in access is level all the way to the cyclorama and the green covers the floor, so a vehicle can be filmed on a keyable background with no floor seam. The 36 kVA available covers lighting the backdrop and the vehicle at once.
Is the lighting gear for green screen on site?
Yes, in the on-site gear room. Large soft sources (Creamsource Vortex 8, Lightstar Airlight 1000) and ARRI fixtures are available with no delivery. A mid-day swap takes minutes.
