This policy describes how RODEO DRIVE collects, uses and protects the personal data of users of the website https://www.rodeodrive-studio.com (hereinafter the “Site”), in accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016) and the French Data Protection Act (Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended).
It may be amended at any time to reflect legal, regulatory or technical developments. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of your visit; the date of the last update appears at the bottom of the page.

No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as such an appointment is not mandatory given the nature and volume of the processing carried out. Any question relating to your data may be addressed to the contact above.
2. Data collected
RODEO DRIVE undertakes to collect only the data strictly necessary for the purposes described below (data minimisation principle).
a) Data you provide to us. When using the contact form or subscribing to our communications, you may be required to provide: name, position, name of your company, email address and telephone number.
b) Data collected automatically. During your browsing, and subject to the choices expressed via the cookie banner (see section 10): pages and services viewed, IP address, browser type and version, operating system, dates and times of access.
RODEO DRIVE does not collect any so-called “sensitive” data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR (origin, opinions, health, etc.) and carries out no solely automated decision-making producing legal effects concerning you.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Each processing operation is based on one of the legal bases set out in Article 6 of the GDPR:

4. Retention periods
Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes pursued, then deleted or archived in accordance with legal obligations:

5. Recipients and processors
Your data is intended for the authorised personnel of RODEO DRIVE within the limits of their duties. It may be disclosed to processors acting on behalf of and on the instructions of RODEO DRIVE, in particular:
- the host of the Site (Automattic Inc. / WordPress.com);
- where applicable, providers of email sending, audience measurement and technical maintenance.
RODEO DRIVE ensures that each processor offers sufficient guarantees with regard to the requirements of the GDPR and uses your data only for the purposes defined by RODEO DRIVE. No data is transferred or sold to third parties for commercial purposes.
In the event of a merger, transfer or acquisition of the company, the data could be transmitted to the acquiring entity, which would be bound by the same protection obligations towards you.
6. Data transfers outside the European Union
As the Site is hosted by Automattic Inc. (WordPress.com), located in the United States, certain data may be transferred outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR, in particular the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. A copy of these safeguards may be obtained on request at the contact address.
7. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data at any time:
- right of access (Art. 15) and rectification (Art. 16);
- right to erasure (Art. 17);
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- right to object to processing (Art. 21), in particular to prospecting;
- right to portability of the data you have provided, where the processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means (Art. 20);
- right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal (Art. 7);
- right to set directives concerning the fate of your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, send your request by email to alex@rodeodrive-studio.com or by post to RODEO DRIVE, 2 avenue Jean Moulin, 94120 Fontenay-sous-Bois, specifying the request concerned. Proof of identity may be requested only in the event of reasonable doubt as to your identity, and will be destroyed once the request has been processed. RODEO DRIVE responds within one month, which may be extended by two months in the case of a complex request.
In the absence of directives, and as soon as it becomes aware of the death of a user, RODEO DRIVE undertakes to destroy their data, except where its retention is necessary for evidentiary purposes or to comply with a legal obligation.
Complaint: if, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French Data Protection Authority) — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr.
8. Security
RODEO DRIVE implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against any loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access: access restricted to authorised personnel, passwords, encryption of communications (HTTPS) and the use of a host offering standard security guarantees.
As no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is entirely infallible, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. RODEO DRIVE nevertheless undertakes to take all reasonable precautions to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of the data.
9. Notification of data breaches
In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, RODEO DRIVE will notify the CNIL within 72 hours where required (Art. 33 GDPR) and, where the risk is high, will inform you as soon as possible so that you can take appropriate measures (Art. 34 GDPR).
10. Cookies and trackers
A cookie is a small file placed and stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a site. It cannot damage your device.
Consent. In accordance with the CNIL’s guidelines, cookies that are not strictly necessary for the operation of the Site (in particular for audience measurement, statistics or linked to social networks) are placed only after obtaining your prior consent, expressed via the cookie management banner displayed during your first visit. Refusal is as simple as acceptance, and continuing to browse does not constitute consent. You may change or withdraw your choices at any time from the cookie management module accessible on the Site.
Cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the Site do not require consent.

Third-party cookies. Where social network content or buttons (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook) are present, these third parties may place their own cookies, subject to their own privacy policies and to your prior consent. RODEO DRIVE exercises no control over these third-party cookies.

The Site may contain links to other sites. RODEO DRIVE exercises no control over the content of these third-party sites and disclaims any liability regarding their personal data practices. We invite you to consult their own privacy policies.
12. Applicable law
This privacy policy is governed by French law. Any dispute relating to its interpretation or performance falls, failing an amicable resolution, within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
